BRIEF BIO: The jazzy folk rock songs and stylings of singer-songwriters Bob Farley and Lynn Perdzock offer an upbeat, positive listening alternative. They have written, recorded and performed nationwide, bringing their own brand of humor and music to thousands. From love songs (of course) to cautionary tales of planetary survival, their music delves into their feelings for each other and the world around them.

IN-DEPTH BIO: When solo artists Lynn Perdzock and Bob Farley joined forces, it didn't take long for them to begin crafting a sound that combined his penchant for rock and her love for Americana. Together, they called themselves Raggedy Edge, a term describing their back and forth path through the genres of music.

Bob's early influences from the Beatles, Clapton, Hendrix, Jeff Beck and Led Zeppelin combined with Lynn's love of the heartfelt ballad and pop blues have given Raggedy Edge its distinctive "upbeat, laid-back positive vibe." Both artists play guitar, mandolin, ukulele, and percussion, with Bob adding some harmonica in live performances and keyboards on recordings.

They recorded their first CD in 2012, With You. It began their style of the story-based love song, along with some turns to blues-tinged comedy, as in lines like: "I feel like I've got two left feet, and nothing to wear but a pair of right-footed shoes" from "Two Left Feet." Three more CDs followed in 2014, 2016, and 2019, with two EP downloads snuggled between the last two. (They're all available at the usual spots, but RE concentrates their efforts on their Raggedy Edge Bandcamp page.)

STAGE REQUIREMENTS
Being a duo, we don't require a large stage. Something 20 feet wide by 10 feet deep provides us a roomy and comfortable performance area. However, if necessity demands, we can cram everything into 10 feet by 6 feet. And if we're only playing a guitar and mando with no PA, the space of a small closet will suffice. We use a 12 by 14 inch 10-channel mixer, either a 200-watt Fishman SA220 amp or when traveling a small Fishman Loudbox amp, into which we normally run two or three guitars, a mandolin, and two Sennheiser vocal mics. When there is a house system, our preference is to run our small setup as usual, but then run it direct out from our PA through the house system. Power-wise, we don't use a lot, so one unused 120-amp circuit provides plenty of juice.
