"Vail Public Library hosted Raggedy Edge ... and they were phenomenal! Bob and Lynn were lively, engaging and oh so talented. We look forward to hosting them again next year!"

About Raggedy Edge
Booking ~ Nice Comments ~ Places We've Played ~ Littlest Big Band ~ Song Lists

WHAT KIND OF MUSIC DO WE PLAY?: Many kinds. If you like the style of the Beatles, Paul Simon, James Taylor, Bonnie Raitt, Judy Collins, you will probably like something we do. Think pop, folk, rock, jazzy blues, bluesy jazz, country-tinged, American Standards. From the 1930s and '40s, through the '50s, '60s and '70s, bit of '80s and '90s, and a touch of the 21st century. All our covers are done in our own style, in our own keys, with no design to be a "tribute" band. We're a duo. Come on.

ORIGINALS: Our original music dates from the 2010s and 2020s, and leans more toward soft rock, blues, country, pop, and some jazzy elements. And we usually don't do our own music exactly like it was recorded. Again, we're a duo. Two people and a looper pedal.

We have four CDs and two EPs of original songs together, plus two solo collections. You can order them through Bandcamp. Most of our music is on Spotify, Apple, and other online outlets, as well.

For you single-mood lovers, we've collected our songs according to genre and made them available as downloads at Bandcamp. These are very nice if you're in the mood for a certain mood. Have a listen:

FOLK-ROCK
BLUES AND SMOOTH JAZZ
AMERICANA-COUNTRY
SOFT ROCK

Our live shows usually contain a few American Standards from our Littlest Big Band collection to add to the family-friendly fun, unique harmonies, fancy guitar playing, and snappy repartee. Music lovers looking for positive, upbeat messages will find that and much more in a Raggedy Edge performance.

TOURS
One of the joys of having music to share is the ability to travel the country doing just that. Below is the history of tours we've made. How do we do it? The "we" in this case is our administrator of destinations and venues, developer of set lists and wardrobes, player of guitar and mandolin, and the beautiful dreamer and singer of crystal clear melodies and lush harmonies: Lynn. If you'd like to have us play for your event, she is the one to call!

The term “raggedy edge” came from a science fiction movie about space travelers making a living on the fringes of the universe—what they called “the raggedy edge.” In a way, we’re like those space travelers, except we’re making our living on the planet Earth, playing our kind of music on the fringes of the music industry. That’s our “Raggedy Edge.”
